One of the biggest flaws of the S58 engine is the sound emitted by the exhaust. The cause is simple, the Increased central pipe has a different length between the exits of the two turbines and the final silencer.

This is due to the positioning of the  turbines  and consequently the  downpipes . This difference in length creates unevenly spaced frequencies and the sound waves, which move at the same speed when they exit the exhaust, take different times to exit, "overlapping" and dampening the sound. On the Biturbo S58 engines the right central manifold is shorter than the left.

This causes the exhaust gases to flow more quickly from one side than the other, causing an unpleasant sound that detracts from the deep sound that a car of this caliber should have. 

The INOXPOWER central tube was designed to recover this gap and make the lengths identical.
